Not surprisingly I had a similar experience leaving nearly everything behind and beginning anew in Berlin. Which has in addition to rebuilding myself also caused me to redefine family and the connection we seek and ultimately find. More so as to how these connections are built and maintained in a world in which the idea of ephemeral has become the cultural norm. Anyway, I greatly appreciate your writing/screaming/sharing.
